The pedal takes around 2-3 minutes to warm up and sound correct, with the LED light actually changing colors to indicate it's ready to go.
At the heart of the Benson Studio Black Fuzz is a couple of germanium transistors that have been graded and matched to deliver the best fuzz possible. The tone of this pedal is versatile and dynamic, reminiscent of '60s Fuzzface sounds, allowing you to clean up your tone by rolling off the volume knob on your guitar. The Gain and Impedance settings puts overdrive, clean boost, dark or light fuzz and full-on zip at your fingertips.
This Studio Black version is designed for indoor use and should not be in direct sunlight when in use. For outdoor gigs check out the Solar White version. It's very important that this pedal be run with a high-quality and consistent power supply, please ask us if you have questions.
